All you do is open it, scroll down, and click "Get Points". You don't have to do anything else just 'X' out of the next screen, unless you do want to take advantage of the offer. They will Not sell your email address. MyPoints is Not a scam. I tried it and within a few years i got a $25 gift card for Olive Garden, a $25 gift card for Toys-R-Us and a $50.00 gift card to a local mall. Give it a try. You have nothing to loose but so much to gain! UPromise is a wonderful way to save for your child's college. Simply go to the grocery store for example. If you buy diapers, a portion the bill will go to your UPromise account. It does grow slowly but it's a start and it makes you feel good that your saving for your baby's future when you may not be able to save money yourself. I was also introduced to INGDirect. INGDirect has the highest interest rates around. It's a wonderful way to save money, even if it's just $1.00 a month. The interest will keep growing.
